Winterfest Has Arrived!

Did you see the burst of snow a week or so ago? Even though the weather has been comfortable, it's December and Winterfest on the Nautical Mile is in full swing. Magic Shows, Concerts, Movies, Hot Chocolate with marshmallows…”These are a few of my favorite things…”

Sparkle on Stage Cultural Arts Center is all dressed up for the holidays and ready for visitors. Come down and make a holiday craft, or build a gingerbread or Hanukah house. Come for a show and stay to play a game of dreidel or sing a song.

We have so many different activities planned at our space, but there is more happening on the Mile as well. On December 3rd, the cast from the Nutcracker will be Christmas Caroling at 6:00 on the Nautical Mile Esplanade as we light the Christmas Tree and wait for the arrival of Santa. Join us and sing along. We have books with the words and jingle bells if you get there early. Afterwards, meet us at our Hot Cocoa Bar and warm up while you watch the annual Boat Parade as they sail down the canal.

We also will have different vendors joining us this month. Drop in to see what they have. Maybe you will find that special gift you are looking for. A beautiful plant, a handmade crocheted scarf, or a beautiful painting. Our snack shack will be open for Coffee, Tea, Hot Cocoa, Chips , Cookies and PIPs Ice Cream and Novelties.

All of our events are posted on our website and in our window. We will be open at 1:00 every weekend till December 18th. We wish you Happy Holidays and hope to see you very soon!
